Made by an artist, for her town
Gypsy Moon Cake Co. began in 2013 at the Jamestown Farmers Market as the city’s first little cupcakery. Geneva had spent years as a painter and photographer, and baking became one more way to make something beautiful with her hands.
What started as a market stall grew into a small shop in the heart of downtown, where the cupcakes were soon joined by macarons, custom cakes, decorated cookies, and a whole spooky lineup come Halloween, our favorite season of all.
Through all of it, the heart has stayed the same. Treats made by hand, with recipes passed down through the family, for the people and the town we love.

Made by hand
Every cake, cookie, and macaron is mixed, baked, and decorated by hand in small batches. No shortcuts, just care.
A family thing
We are a small, family-run shop, and our recipes carry a little of the family with them, including an Italian grandmother's.
Rooted in Jamestown
We started at the local farmers market and we are proud to be part of downtown Jamestown to this day.
